Dementia Care
It is a specialist type of care for those people who have been diagnosed with a form of Dementia. There are many types of dementia, some more common than others, and all our staff, regardless of their role, complete a Dementia Awareness course and are familiar with the symptoms, challenges or needs of people affected by this.
Some of these symptoms for example can be loss of memory, confusion, or problems with speech and understanding. Whatever it might be, our staff are fully trained and able to care for residents suffering from most forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s, and they are aware of the many progressive stages of the disease and how to help them cope through this illness.
